Overview This guide shows you how to install a standard full-size ATX motherboard and ATX power supply into the compact Meshroom S V2 chassis. Note that this setup only supports Small Form Factor GPUs up to 239 × 160 × 63 mm (LxWxH).
- Choose the PCIe Riser Cable Select the appropriate cable length based on your motherboard form factor (mATX or ATX).
- Prepare Accessories
- Power‐supply extension cable
- Copper standoffs: 2 × 25 mm, 3 × 15 mm (spares included in accessory box)
- Remove Pre-installed Riser If your chassis shipped with a pre-installed GPU riser, remove the riser bracket and cable.
- Detach Excess I/O Ports Remove the USB ports from the motherboard I/O shield area to clear routing space.
- Mount the GPU Riser Using two #6-32 screws and two 25 mm standoffs, secure the riser bracket to the top of the chassis.
- Pre-install CPU Install your CPU and its retention bracket on the motherboard before mounting the board into the chassis.
- Install Motherboard Secure the motherboard using five #6-32 screws and 6.5 mm standoffs, ensuring all ports align correctly.
- Attach PSU Standoffs Mount three 15 mm copper standoffs onto your ATX power supply for chassis mounting.
- Route Extension Cable Feed the PSU extension cable through the bottom cable pass-through, then route it neatly to the top.
- Secure the PSU Fasten the power supply inside the chassis using three #6-32 screws.
- Reinstall GPU Bracket Secure the GPU into the riser bracket with two #6-32 screws.
- Install CPU Cooler Ensure your cooler’s width does not interfere with the mesh top panel; adjust standoff heights if necessary.
- CPU cooler clearance: Varies by bracket height—refer to diagram on p. 33–34 of the manual.
- Optional: Mount 3.5″ HDD The lower side panel houses a 3.5″ drive bay for additional storage.
