What fan and radiator configurations are compatible with Xhuttle?

Modified on Sun, Jun 29 at 11:01 PM

The SSUPD Xhuttle case features a symmetrical and adaptable airflow design that supports both air-cooling and liquid-cooling setups, ensuring long-term stability for your components.

Fan and Radiator configurations

The bottom supports up to three 120mm fans, while the top and rear panels each support up to three 120mm fans, with an additional 120mm fan mount behind the motherboard. For liquid cooling, the bottom and rear support either 240mm or 360mm radiators.

Fan Layout & Airflow Paths

  1. Bottom Fans (3× Removable RGB Reverse-Blade Fans – Intake)

    • Draw cool air into the case’s lower chamber.

    • Comes with three pre-installed RGB reverse-blade fans for customizable airflow and aesthetics.

  2. Top Fans (3× Standard-Orientation Fans – Exhaust)

    • Mounted on the top panel to expel warm air, taking advantage of natural heat rise.

  3. Side Fans (3× Configurable as Intake or Exhaust)

    • Air-Cooling (CPU Air Cooler): Side fans set to intake, creating a “3 intake (bottom), 6 exhaust (top + side)” airflow pattern.

      • Positive Pressure (More Intake than Exhaust): Keeps dust out; ideal for air-cooling setups.

    • Liquid-Cooling (AIO/Custom Loop): Side fans set to exhaust (radiator fans often included), yielding “3 intake (bottom + top), 3 exhaust (side)” airflow pattern.

      • Negative Pressure (More Exhaust than Intake): Maximizes heat expulsion; suited for high-heat liquid-cooling setups.

Radiator Sandwich Mode

  • The radiator can also be mounted in sandwich mode (fan–radiator–fan configuration) for further improved cooling performance.
