When using the Meshroom S V2 case with the Expansion Bracket and installing an ATX/MATX motherboard in 4-slot PCIe mode, a physical conflict may occur between the edge of the motherboard and the front I/O interfaces on the Expansion Bracket. Specifically, the right edge of the motherboard may interfere with one of the Expansion Bracket USB ports.
This situation occurs only when all of the following conditions are met:
- The Meshroom S V2 case is used with an Expansion Bracket;
- The motherboard is ATX/MATX size;
- The case is configured in 4-slot PCIe mode.
If such interference occurs, one of the front USB ports on the Expansion Bracket may need to be removed to allow proper installation of the motherboard.
We recommend:
- Planning your hardware layout in advance;
- Considering an alternative PCIe slot configuration (such as 3-slot mode) to completely avoid this issue.
? Some users have also shared that replacing the standoff with a 6mm standoff can resolve this conflict, though this depends on motherboard compatibility and whether you are comfortable with this adjustment.
